PruittHealth is saddened to share that a PruittHealth – Palmyra patient in Albany, Georgia passed away late Sunday, March 15 while receiving care in our facility. We offer our sincerest condolences to the patient’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

A Dougherty County coroner requested a post-mortem COVID-19 test for this PruittHealth – Palmyra patient. The test was confirmed presumptive positive, and PruittHealth was notified about this result today, March 20.

Again, we are deeply saddened to lose a member of our PruittHealth family. We ask for your prayers for the patient’s loved ones during this difficult time, and out of respect for them and the patient’s privacy, PruittHealth cannot share any more details at this time.
