Norcross, Ga. (July 7, 2021) – More than 140 skilled nursing centers, pharmacies, as well as home health and hospice offices in the PruittHealth family of providers now are operating at Alert Code Orange status. By moving to Alert Code Orange, these locations have no positive or presumptive positive COVID-19 cases, and the communities in which they are located are in the process of recovering from an outbreak.

“This de-escalation is possible because of the dedication of every member of the PruittHealth family to beating COVID-19 – from our caregivers to patients and their loved ones and, of course, the communities we serve,” Neil L. Pruitt, Jr., chairman and CEO of PruittHealth, said. “Our team remains vigilant for the health and safety of our patients, and we thank our communities for doing their part by getting vaccinated.”

Indoor and outdoor visitation are allowed seven days per week for all patients, regardless of vaccination status, as long as they have not tested positive for COVID-19 or are being quarantined to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. If the location’s COVID-19 county positivity rate surpasses 10% and patient vaccination rate falls below 70%, unvaccinated patients will not be able to have indoor visits. Enhanced infection control protocols, including increased cleaning frequency and staff use of personal protective equipment (PPE), will continue at these locations.
