PruittHealth continues to follow the latest guidelines from public health officials and implement infection control procedures for the safety of its patients and staff. The organization has been in communication with the affected individuals’ families, physicians, and local health departments.
By initiating Alert Code Red status, these centers will continue to implement enhanced infection control protocols, including but not limited to, increasing cleaning frequency, limiting communal activities and screening staff and patients daily.
The centers will also further restrict staff to only essential personnel and limit new admissions. PruittHealth continues to urge staff to avoid contact with those who are sick and consult with a physician if they do not feel well.
PruittHealth is closely monitoring all patients who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
